The wind last night, New Year's Eve, was quite strong. Several power outages were reported due to the strong winds. Here in town, a few trash cans and leftover Christmas decorations were blown around, but that was about it. The most notable weather even on New Year's Eve was the heavy rain and warm temperatures. Yesterday's high was 60F with 1.19 inches of rainfall.
Today has been much cooler with a daytime high of 41F under cloudy skies. The morning low was 36F. Only some slight drizzle was noted this evening, but it was only enough to be seen on your windshield. The winds were very calm today.
