Storm Update

Looks like everything is still on track for tomorrows storm.  This will be the most snow we've received in a single storm since 2015.  Forecast totals are in the 4-8 inch range.  According to the map below from the Indianapolis NWS office, Rush County is in the sweet spot for the heaviest snow.  The entire area is under a Winter Storm Warning through 7am on Sunday, January 13.

Today, the weather was cloudy and cold.  There was some filtered sunshine midday, but the clouds thickened up in the mid afternoon.  Temperatures remained below freezing all day, so it's a good setup for tomorrow's snow to stick right from the beginning.
