It was 56 today with sunshine. This is miserable Christmas weather. I even saw a moron outside in shorts, t shirt, and bare feet washing his car this afternoon. Amazingly, there are still patches of snow still on the ground. This is due to the sun being at it's lowest height at this time. Here's a visible satellite image from late this afternoon of the snow cover. Overall, there isn't really much snow across the US this Christmas. The next chance for snow should be around the 30th of December.
