The first "major" winter storm should begin tonight, but I fear little snow accumulation will occurr here in Rush county. Predictions for this area range from 1 to 6 inches of snow. The issue is that we are right on the line between rain and snow. There's also the possibility of a dry slow working in as the center of low pressure travels just to our south.
Today, skies were partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy by afternoon as the storm moved closer. The morning low was 28 and the afternoon high was 44.
